MiCADO is an auto-scaling framework for Dockerized applications, orchestrated by Kubernetes. It supports autoscaling at two levels. At virtual machine (VM) level, a built-in Kubernetes cluster is dynamically extended or reduced by adding/removing cloud virtual machines. At Kubernetes level, the number of replicas tied to a specific Kubernetes Deployment can be increased/decreased.

The latest revision of MiCADOscale can be found on the GitHub repository. The documentation is hosted on readthedocs.io.

The new version of MiCADOscale fixes some raised issues, while adding new functionality to the framework. To review the differences, consider the release notes in our documentation.
